Understanding Tags

The primary purpose of a “Tag” is to identify and group records in your database that have some commonality.  To tag a record, click into the “Assign a new tag” box and start typing the name of the tag you wish to add. As you type, Realvolve will display a list of existing tags containing the search text.  If this is a new tag that is being created, TAB out of the field, and the tag will be added or pick from the list of existing tags and assign as needed.
Once a record is tagged it can be searched or filtered for processing in mass emails, text messages or exporting to CSV.  It is important to know that you have to have Tag rights to create your own tags. Ask the Realvolve account owner for rights if you are unable to create new tags.  If a tag needs to be removed, click the x button to the right of the tag name.
